Project presentations

Communication and dissemination play a central role in the delivery of the MycoKey smart solutions for food safety and acts as a vehicle for introducing innovation and supporting Europe’s long-term policies for sustainable growth and competitiveness in food sector. MycoKey dissemination actions will demonstrate also to non -specialised audiences the project’s added value in food safety and job creation as well as seek views from the public on the future of the European Union intrinsically support Horizon 2020’s core added values.
MycoKey Consortium members are very active in promoting projects’activities and sharing results with international scientific community, to spread knowledge around the world and create opportunities for cooperation.

MycoKey@ISMYCO 2016

 

Antonio Logrieco, MycoKey coordinator ,  will participate at the International Symposium of Mycotoxicology 2016 – ISMYCO 2016 in Japan from Nov 30 to Dec 2, 2016.

In his keynote lecture, entitled “Integrated and innovative actions for mycotoxin management and MycoKey contribution”, the Coordinator will introduce the MycoKey project and provide an updated review of the state-of-art and proposed solutions.

Giuseppina Mulè, scientist from CNR, will also present the research performed in the MycoKey project  “Mycotoxin degradation by laccase enzymes from Pleurotus spp.” on Nov. 29, 2016.

9th International Symposium on Quality & Safety of Grains and Oilseeds, Wuhan, P.R.China, Oct 12-14, 2016.

The MycoKey Coordinator, Antonio F. Logrieco, presented the MycoKey project at 9th International Symposium on Quality & Safety of Grains and Oilseeds, held in Wuhan, P.R.China, Oct 12-14, 2016.

The Symposium has been chaired by Prof. Peiwu LI and successfully organized b Oil Crops Research Institute (CAAS), Key Lab of Detection for Mycotoxins, (MOA), Lab of Quality & Safety Risk Assessment for Oliseed Products (MOA), Joint Lab for Groundnut Aflatoxin Management (CAAS-ICRISAT), National Sci&Tech (Innovation Network for Agri-food Safety), Division of Oil Crops (Crop Scence Society of China), Quality Inspection and test Center for Oilseed Products (MOA).

This Symposium represented a good opportunity to enlarge EU-CHiNA dialogue, through promising relationships for future cooperation.

MycoKey presentation at III INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS “FOOD TECHNOLOGY, QUALITY AND SAFETY“ and XVII  INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM“FEED TECHNOLOGY”

 

Giuseppina Avantaggiato from CNR ISPA presented the main features of theMycoKey Project during a keynote lecture at the IIIInternational Congress on “Food Technology, Quality and Safety“ and theXVII International Symposium “Feed Technology”, organized by the Institute of Food Technology in Novi Sad (FINS), from 25th to 27th October 2016. The Institute of Food Technology (FINS) is one of the leading research institutes in the field of food and feed science and technology, and dissemination of knowledge in Serbia and South Eastern Europe.

The MycoKey project has been introduced to scientists, food industry and equipment suppliers, being in line with the Congress addresses on novel technologies and traditional products as means for competitive and safe food products for European and global market
