Scientific actions will be undertaken for the main target crops to resolve critical aspects on technical phases covering all steps along the chain: field, storage, processing, and transportation.
In this framework, feasible solutions will be mainly developed to wheat, maize, and barley, to be applied to other food chains where appropriate (i.e. dried fruits and grapes), in order to solve specific problems.
