The objective is to ensure compliance with the ‘ethics requirements’ set out in this work package.

Tasks

The ‘ethics requirements’ that the project must comply with are included as deliverables:

  • D10.1 : POPD – Requirement No. 4 [3]
  • Detailed information must be provided on the informed consent procedures that will be implemented. Persons concerned (“data subjects”) must be provided with an “informed consent form” and detailed” information sheets” (informed consent forms for voluntary participation in research- if human subjects are involved- and for personal data collection and processing).
  • D10.2 : A – Requirement No. 18 [6]
  • In case research protocols are not defined, general information must be provided on the nature of the experiments, the procedures to ensure the welfare of the animals, and how the Principle of the Three Rs will be applied
  • D10.3 : POPD – Requirement No. 19 [6]
  • Copies of ethical approvals for the collection of personal data by the competent University Data Protection Officer / National Data Protection authority must be submitted.
  • D10.4 : A – Requirement No. 8 [6]
  • Copy of project authorisation (covering also the work with genetically-modified animals, if applicable) and research protocols must be submitted.
