The MycoKey Consortium consists of 32 organizations from 14 countries of three continents (Europe, Asia and Africa) with the highest participation of European Union member states and candidates (21), Chinese (11) partners, Switzerland and third countries (Argentina, Nigeria).

The partnership has been structured to bring together complementary knowledge with a demonstrated track record of success. Most of the partners already collaborated in previous or running EU projects and prepared consistent joint publications.
More than 300 experts covering different areas along the chain are working together to establish promising research projects and results in order to give a fruitful contribution to food safety all over the world.
